For “Saryarka-IRON Ltd.”: preliminary technical and economic calculation of effectiveness of processing of iron and iron-manganese ores from Pits No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5 of “Bolshoy Kitay” deposit, using gravitation (short) technology.  

In accordance with Terms of Reference, functions of ore dressing plant using gravitation (short) technology include production of lump iron concentrate, having size of minus 60 mm plus 10 mm and iron concentration of 55%. Annual capacity of the plant is 2.5 tons. On the basis of technical and economic calculations, internal rate of return (IRR) of the project is 95%. Payback period of initial capital is 3 years (without discounting – 1 year).
