For Mednogorskiy copper-sulfur plant (Russia): process procedures for engineering of project “Construction of section for fuming of slag from smelting unit “Pobeda”” have been prepared.

Annual capacity of slag fuming section is 120 000 tons, including 105 000 of liquid slag and 15 000 of solid slag.
Process procedures have been prepared in the framework of improvement of gas cleaning system in converter section of copper smelting workshop.  Upon completion of this work, gas from smelting unit “Pobeda” and boiling converters will be cleaned in a bag house, which will allow to decrease considerably residual dust concentration in it and to extract lead and some of zinc into commercial fumes by concentrating of processing of raw materials with high concentration of lead and zinc in smelting unit “Pobeda”.
